Mobility Wet Room Installation In Bournemouth

From an outdated shower room to a modern, accessible wet room.

The Transformation:

This Bournemouth bathroom required a complete transformation to make the space safer and more practical for everyday use.

The existing bathroom featured an enclosed shower cubicle, traditional tiled walls and carpeted flooring. The layout and existing fittings offered limited accessibility and made the room more difficult to use.

Removing The Old Bathroom And Preparing The Floor :

Wet room renovation in progress in Bournemouth, showing the bathroom preparation and removal of existing fittings before installation.

The bathroom was stripped back, including removal of the existing shower enclosure and flooring. The floor was opened up to allow the necessary plumbing and drainage work to be carried out before the new wet-room system was installed.

The room was then completely refurbished with modern, easy-clean wall panels and safety flooring.

A new level-access shower area was installed, together with a shower seat, grab rails and accessible shower controls. A new WC and wall-mounted basin completed the installation.

The Finished Wet Room:

The completed bathroom provides a much more practical and accessible space, while maintaining a clean and contemporary appearance.

The marble-effect wall panels give the room a modern finish, while the safety flooring provides a practical surface for a wet-room environment.

The addition of strategically positioned grab rails and a shower seat also provides additional support when using the shower.
